I read Marie Forleo’s, “Everything Is Figureoutable” recently and I must admit it was a great read. The book is carefully categorized into actionable tips, advice, and stories that keep you hooked.
P.S. I do not own any of the images all rights for the pictures and quotes belong to Marie Forleo.
Time taken to read: I challenged myself to read one chapter of this book a day and since the book had 10 chapters, it took me about 10 days to read.
Look and Feel: I loved the cover design of the book “Everything is Figureoutable”, the bright blue background and Marie Forleo in a fashionable outfit, as usual, is super attractive and the texture and feel of the book are smooth as hell. The font of the book was easy to read, which is a problem I have with certain books, not because I have any major eye problems as such, it’s just something that I prefer.
Well-spaced fonts and texts make it a pleasant experience to read a book, there I said it, maybe that’s just me and I have no regrets. And this book checked that box for me well.
The book is available at a great price on Amazon or any other bookstore near you.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A BOOK TO GET YOU INSPIRED AGAIN, “EVERYTHING IS FIGUREOUTABLE”, IS THE ONE.
Everything is Figureoutable Marie Forleo Review
Marie Forleo is a multi-passionate entrepreneur who has inspired thousands with her business acumen, marketing skills, and enthusiastic personality. She is one of the most inspiring women in business who provides great self-help tips, inspiration tips, and business tips to help others succeed in the modern market.
Born and raised in a humble home in New Jersey, Marie has always known and believed in the three Hs’- Hustle, Hard work, and Humility. Her mother is the person who came up with the line “Everything is Figureoutable”, which has quickly become my life’s new mantra and it should be yours too.
Like Marie says, repeat it to yourself whenever you can and how many ever times you can and it will soon be instilled in your mind. Problems become challenges you can overcome and solutions seem more achievable, with the help of this mantra.
Everything around us started as an idea or belief. Just look around you – your laptop, the tube light above you, your smartphone – everything.
A core concept in Marie’s book is:
Thought -> Feeling-> Behaviour-> Result
But before all that comes belief. It is the make or break factor that determines who you are and what you do and why you do it.
How much belief you have in yourself and your dreams determines whether or not you will make time for it or not.
“Embrace the fact that your dreams aren’t made or broken by anyone but you” – Marie Forleo
Every time you choose to make a decision that takes you away from your dream you are playing the victim in your life and you must choose to be the heroine/hero.
Throughout the book, Everything is Figureoutable, Marie proves time and time again that failures are just a part of life.
She is someone who is so in tune with her intuition, that every time she was doing something that wasn’t in alignment with her true self, an alarm would go off in her mind. She worked menial jobs like cleaning toilets, and others like working at a food and lifestyle magazine, fashion magazine and as a dance teacher. She was actually good at all these jobs and was getting promoted and acknowledged for her work, but she didn’t feel like that’s where she belonged.
How many of us have been in that position before?
Where we have just gone along with certain situations and circumstances even though we knew in our heart of hearts that’s not where we were meant to be. We let self-doubt take the driver’s seat while we left passion and ambition in the trunk.
Marie’s raw and uninhibited method of storytelling has won hearts across the globe. Anyone who has visited her website ‘marieforleo.com’ or checked out her YouTube channel “Marie T.V.” knows the magnetic impact she has on anyone who tunes into her content for even a second and her book was no different.
It is filled with quotable quotes in true Marie Forleo nature that deserves a second and third read.
A few of my favourites include:
A fear is never final unless you stay on the ground.
I win or I learn but I never lose.
Start small and sucky to avoid being stucky.
Progress not Perfection.
What I personally enjoyed about the book was how candid she was about her failures. She admits that it’s not easy to have it all. Balancing friends, family, relationships, health, and your job takes real hard work and commitment.
She talks about the time she was eating mac and cheese almost every night because she had no time to make a home-cooked or healthy meal for herself. And no matter how much her boyfriend told her otherwise, her main focus was on her work and work alone.
Failed auditions, stolen equipment, crying in the elevator, mansplaining individuals, internet trolls and almost every other problem under the sun has been flung into Marie’s Forleo’s life but she has managed to knock each one of them out of the park.
Whenever we have a problem in our lives she says we must never quit but instead ask ourselves one question,
“What is the next right move?”
Marie constantly reminds us that the only person’s approval you need is your own. And if anyone gives you crap, take a moment to think whether the person who insulted you is even worth listening to and whether there is any truth in what they are saying.
No one can make you feel bad without your consent.
Marie’s encouragement, experiences, and enthusiasm breaks barriers and boundaries you would have created in your mind and basically demolishes any excuse to NOT go after what you want.
When things go wrong remember Everything is Figureoutable.
When things don’t go your way remember Everything is Figureoutable.
When the unexpected happens remember, Everything is Figureoutable.
To anyone who needs to take a cold hard look at their life, who needs a little kick up their butt, who needs to figure out what they want to do with their lives, READ THIS BOOK.
This book personally helped me come back to my blog and figure out exactly what I wanted to do with it. Instead of going out of my way to talk about things that I thought others might find interesting, I learned I should just stick to what I know and people will appreciate that more.e.
She really helped me narrow down what I wanted and needed to do with my website in order to take it to the next level and create a strategy that works for me.
I hope you enjoyed this Everything is Figureoutable Marie Forleo Review.
