In a world where we are constantly bombarded with content, it is important to narrow down the sources where you get it from. YouTube is a great place to keep yourself informed about your industry and get hacks to help you grow. There is a YouTube channel for everything but it is crucial to find ones that are positive and help you learn at your pace.
I have been watching YouTube videos daily for almost 9 years now but usually, it’s just for music videos, funny videos or celebrity interviews. It took me a while to understand how much information it really has and what a great resource it can be.
I really delved deep into the resourcefulness of the platform last year when I was going through a really tough time. Years of shoving down my feelings and pretending I knew what I was doing had finally caught up to me. I was having breakdowns almost every single day. I had no control and was on the verge of crying every second.
I mean I was far from a functional adult even though I had been living away from my parents for almost five year.
One day, I had enough of my own excuses and the noise in my head. I wasn’t helping anybody let alone myself. This is when I looked up my first ‘self-help’ YouTube video to figure out what I wanted to do with myself. The number of people I discovered has transformed my life forever.
I thought it would be a great idea to share these people with you so that you can discover your passions, learn how to handle challenging times, become your most authentic self and live your best life ever!

I think it’s safe to say that Lisa Nichols is one of the most inspiring people alive on this planet. Years ago she got married to a man who was not good to her and had a son. She realized that for the sake of her son she would have to make something of herself. So she left her community and family and went to a place she didn’t know anybody. She worked multiple jobs attended many workshops. She surrounded herself with people whom she aspired to be like. If she didn’t understand something that was spoken at a workshop she would keep attending it until she could. Lisa has attended one particular workshop 22 times.
Lisa knew she wanted to make something of herself and she did. Initially she had to live in a cramped up room with her son. But every month she would make a check to ‘Funding My Dream’ and send it. To be clear ‘funding my dream’ was not a person, it was just a check to fund Lisa’s dream, a few years later she went to the bank to see how much money she had and the bank tellers told her she had $63,000.
Her resilience, her strength, and her conviction,
